DUO is simple, with a "flat" side,
It is a picture frame that can be used on two sides, the "line" side with band-shaped decorations.
Until now, there was something I was worried about when I was decorating the picture frame. The problem is that the picture frame is tilted slightly from the wall. We call this "bowing".
However, the paintings and photographs displayed in museums stand neatly vertically,
There is a dignified atmosphere, and you can feel the dignity in the work.
We also want to create a picture frame that can present the work in an ideal form without "bowing". With this in mind, we started product design.
In order to eliminate the tilted state, we reconsidered the positional relationship between the wall and the hanger, and decided to move the hanger, which had been on the "back" of the forehead, to the "surroundings".
As a result, the forehead is always kept vertical, and it has become a product that can produce works without casting shadows that interfere with the work.
In addition, by moving the fasteners and hangers that used to be on the back to the surroundings, both sides of the frame can be used as display surfaces, creating a design with a different atmosphere.
The metal fittings are designed to be hidden inside the forehead so that they cannot be seen from the front.
Designed by a graphic designer with a background in architecture. It features a design that blends into the space while directing the work.
