ALUMIUM Series 04 "FLAP"

We wanted something that has both presence and elegance, yet feels very slim.

FLAP is a frame that gently slopes from the center toward the outside. Since the artwork extends forward beyond the outer perimeter of the frame, it makes the artwork stand out more.

This frame, with a triangular cross-section, appears wide and elegant when viewed from the front. From other angles, however, it gives the impression of being thin and light. The aluminum shine at the corners, where the material transitions, adds a sharp and prominent touch.

Designed by a graphic designer with a background in architecture, FLAP features a design that complements the artwork while blending seamlessly with the surrounding space.

Suggestions for Use

  • The strong cross-section allows for larger sizes, including A1 and beyond.
  • It can be used for a variety of artworks, including photos, posters, and contemporary art.
  • The surface is finished with a shot-blasted matte coating, combining the material texture of aluminum with a sense of luxury.

For sizes with a short side of 202mm or less and a long side of 1031mm or more, the frame will use washer screws.

For frames with a long side of 900mm or more or a total length of 1600mm or more, a flat reinforcement board will be included.
